I've spent the vast majority of today tinkering around with filter processes over sketchy animations in photoshop, this is one of the more interesting turnouts.
The figure & motion are rough, yet it plays semi-smooth after the filter & light processes are done. I'll likely use this kind of stuff for atmospheric light, light over large textures, and to help smooth over the use of opacity tweens.
For characters though, I still intend to use sharper lighting , like [link]
, as it is a lot faster when you have a lot of really unique frames to plow through.
